Good Samaritan Hospital Appoints Associate Director of Care Management

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center recentlynamed Donald H. Teplitz as associate director of care management and utilization/clinical resource physician.

Teplitz joins Good Sam with 25 years of experience as a board certified family practitioner as well as extensive experience in hospital utilization management. As associate director, he will work closely with senior administration, case management and the medical staff in the areas of utilization and health insurance.

Prior to his new role, Teplitz served as Mercy Medical Center’s director of family practice and physician advisor.

A resident of Merrick, Teplitz earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a board member of the New York State Office of Professional Conduct.
