Our latest school report explores .  And a reminder that we're only five days away from finding out which two schools will be closing.  Check out a movie at the WI Library at 1 p.m.  They'll be showing The Tempest, starring Alan Cumming, Helen Mirren, Chris Cooper, Djimon Hounsou, Alfred Molina, Russell Brand. 110 min.  School events: Supt. open house (2:30-4:30 p.m.), All-District rehearsal (3 p.m.).  We just received word of Good Samaritan's first baby born in 2011!  Find out who it is later today. Looking for jobs in the area?  Check back this morning for a full listing of open positions all of which are located in West Islip.
