Last Chance: Kids' Art Workshop at the Library

Children in grades kindergarten through sixth can create a Van Gogh-inspired artwork at West Islip Library this afternoon.

Does your child have a creative streak in them? Today is their last chance this week to flex their artistic side at the at this afternoon.

Kids in grades kindergarten through sixth are invited to the library to create a mixed media landscape painting, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's "Pollarded Willow Trees and Sunset."

The workshop begins at 4:30 p.m. and costs $3 to pay for materials. Children are encouraged to bring a smock.

Class size is limited to 20 kids, so parents should register at the library or by calling 631-661-7080.
