Lego Club Helps Woodhull Students Tap Their Imagination

The 10-week club lets student contribute to the process of designing, building and testing solutions.

Woodhull Elementary School, on Fire Island, offers students a wide range of clubs and activities to enhance programmatic offerings. The building’s Lego Club is designed to encourage students to use their imagination, try out their problem-solving skills and cooperate with others.

Students use Legos in a fun, hands-on and engaging way covering a diverse number of curriculum targets within science, technology, engineering and math. Activities are designed for two to four students working together.

Each student can contribute to the process of designing, building and testing solutions. Lego Club meets after school on Tuesdays for 10 weeks.
