WEST ISLIP, NY — West Islip's Bella DeNapoli gave a stunning performance in the live Top 20 episode of NBC's "The Voice" Monday night that left the judges impressed.

The 22-year-old performed a dramatic arrangement of Gwen Stefani's "Sweet Escape."

"It's funny, "we all went to go see Gwen's ... [most recent] show this last weekend, and Ari [Ariana Grande, DeNapoli's coach on the show} told me, she was, like, ‘You're not going to believe this: Bella's doing 'Sweet Escape' on the show,'" said Blake Shelton, who is married to Stefani. "And I've got to tell you, I'm dying for Gwen to hear this, because — great job, by the way — there's taking a song and making it your own."

DeNapoli was given a second chance to participate in the competition tafter losing against teammate Katie Rae Mortimer in their Battle Rounds episode. Although DeNapoli's coach Grande chose Mortimer as the winner, she then used her "save" option to allow DeNapoli to continue in the competition. The Voice judges are allowed to save one contestant during both the Battle Rounds and Knockouts.

She then went on to perform against Katherine Ann Mohler in the Knockout rounds, wowing the judges with Sia's "Chandelier".
