Good news for gas guzzling automobile drivers; the price of regular fuel is dropping throughout Long Island, according to LongIslandGasPrices.com.
The average price on the island is now $3.99 and is showing no signs of increasing. That's terrible news if you live in Oceanside and fill up at the Gulf station on Long Beach Road. They're offering an island-high price of $4.59 per gallon.
On the contrary, you'd have to go to New Cassel to get the lowest price from Manhattan to Montuak. A Valero on Old Country Road is charging only $3.81 per gallon.
