John Dominici and Evadney Terry, both workers at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center (OLC) in West Islip were recently presented with the Catholic Health Services Living the Mission Award. Dominici, of East Islip,has worked as an Executive Chef Manager at OLC since 2010. "John is a very kind and pleasant person with everyone he meets. He goes way above and beyond to accommodate the residents. He has complete compassion and respect for everyone," said one OLC resident. Evadney, a Mastic Beach resident has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the center since 2011. "Evadney is loved by everyone on the community," said a resident. "She is an inspiration to us all and treats each of us as family."
