Possession, Harassment Reported in Local Police Blotter
Arrests and incidents reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between August 13-20.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- On August 16, Kevin Hayes, of West Islip, was arrested in Farmingdale and charged with possession of stolen property.
- On August 17, Patrick Bell, of West Islip, was arrested in W. Babylon and charged with assault.

- On August 15, there was a report of harassment on Montauk Highway at 3:22 p.m.
- On August 17, there was a report of criminal mischief on Lincoln Place at 10:30 p.m.
- On August 17, there was a report of harassment on Larry Lane at 3 p.m.
