Local Gas Guide: Where to Fill 'Er Up

West Islip gas prices have stabalized, according to LongIslandGasPrices.com.

Delta, Valero and Walson all currently offer regular fuel at $3.79 per gallon, which is the cheapest in town.  The Shell station, located on Montauk Highway, has regular at $3.89. 

All of West Islip prices fall below the Long Island average of $3.90.  The cheapest price on the Island can be found at a Gas Stop station in Bay Shore for $3.69.

The most expensive?  Mobil stations in Islip Terrace, Hauppauge and Smithtown are all offering regular for a staggering $4.59 per gallon.
