Residents Stage Support Caravan At Good Samaritan Hospital

The "Caravan of Encouragement" drove by Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip with signs, beeping and cheers.

WEST ISLIP, NY Residents near Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip showed their support to the doctors, nurses and other health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic with a "Caravan of Encouragement."

On Monday, neighbors and supporters drove through the hospital's main entrance, beeping and displaying signs of encouragement and support.

Catholic Health Services, which runs Good Samaritan, thanked the community for the supportive gesture on Facebook:

"The physicians, nurses and employees of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center are thankful for the outpouring of love and support at yesterday’s Caravan of Encouragement.
