Rick Simon said the district is taking proactive steps to try and prevent what happened this past weekend.

In light of the at the high school turf field over the weekend, Superintendent Rick Simon said the district plans to take proactive steps to try and prevent a repeat occurrence.
"We do have regular security personnel who check various buildings and grounds throughout the night," he said. "We have 24/7 security but obviously they can’t be at every spot at every minute."
Simon said that Michael Zotto and Scott Brady (both BOE members) are working with Joe Nicolosi (director of security for WI schools) and James Bosse (director of Buildings and Grounds) on ways to prevent late-night vandalism.

"We’re also investigating through our student discipline system," Simon said. "We've received a few tips. But we don’t have anything concrete, just some rumors."
