AAPR Tax Help For Seniors

10 a.m.,

AARP volunteers will be at the library to help with 2011 Income Tax Forms. Please bring copies of your 2010 Income Tax returns and all necessary receipts, paystubs, etc. with you. West Islip School District residents may make appointments for Tax Help by calling 661-7080 and asking for the Reference Desk. Patrons without appointments will only be assisted with their tax forms if time permits.

Tuesday

Coalition Membership Meeting

7 p.m.,

The Coalition of local women and men is about to embark on another exciting year as it continues to raise awareness and funding in the fight against breast cancer. Local residents interested in joining may attend.

Wednesday

Trivia Night

7 p.m.,

Looking for a way to blow off some steam on hump day? Café Mojo hosts its “mind-bending” trivia contest. The questions can be tough, and the song rounds are challenging, but teams seem to get through it okay, either learning a whole lot of useless trivia facts or realizing they are smarter than they thought.

Budget Worksession

7:30 p.m., Beach Street MS Cafeteria

The next school district budget meeting is expected to include a presentation by Tim Horan, director of athletics, physical education and health and recreation for West Islip School District.
