Find a bargain at a moving sale taking place 1343 North Monroe Avenue on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9 a.m. Items for sale include rugs, lamps, furniture, and Christmas decorations. At the library, learn all about social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The workshop starts Saturday at 10 a.m. Also at the library, local artist Phyllis Chan Carr will conduct a Gingerbread House Demonstration Saturday at 1 p.m. Carr will offer tips on how to make your own. Community members are invited to share a free homemade meal at Westminster United Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 4 p.m. All are welcome. The West Islip Public library is holding a food drive throughout the month of November. All doantions will be sent to The Veterans Place in Yaphank. Donate this weekend if you can.
