Stevianne Ognibene and Haley Westerberg each had three hits to lead West Islip to a 5-1 win over North Babylon Tuesday at West Islip High School.
Alyssa Monteverde got the win for the Lions, allowing a run on five hits with seven strikeouts. The softball team moves to 11-5 and remains tied for first with Smithtown West in League III.
