
The past two weeks have been considerably good for the NYIT men's soccer team, espcially those who graduated from West Islip.
First, Vinny Caccavale was highlighted by the East Coast Conference for his output of six points two weeks ago. And now it's his teammate and fellow sophomore Matt DiDonna who stood out for the Bears.
DiDonna, who also played with Caccavale on the WIHS team, recorded four points last week, including the game-winner against East Stroudsburg. It was his third game-winning goal of the season.

He then helped the Bears open up conference play by scoring a goal in their 3-0 victory over Molloy.
