WIHS To Put on Rendition of 'Oklahoma!'

Performances to begin on Thursday, March 15.

Since the beginning of January, West Islip High School students have been dedicating serious rehearsal time and energy for this year's spring musical production of the classic "Oklahoma!"

Shows are scheduled at the for March 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m., with a special matinee performance on the 17th at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.  Senior Citizens will not be charged.

"It's a huge cast of 9-12 graders," said Kim Anderson.  "For many of the senior leads, this is their fourth and final musical for West islip High School so it will be very sentimental that they are performing for the last time after being dedicated to the theater club for four years."
