2 Shot at White Plains Nightclub

Fights broke out in a city parking lot after two were shot at Cabo nightclub.

in White Plains drew a large crowd Saturday night who came to seeperform, and probably not a shooting.

White Plains firefighters went to the Mamaroneck Avenue bar around 2:35 a.m. to check for over occupancy and found a man outside the club claiming to be shot in the leg, police said.

Police said the club—which is open as Sienna Italian/American Grill from 4 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Saturday, and as Cabo until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday—was packed with people who came to see "Funk Flex." According to Bomb Parties.com, the radio DJ was there for an event jointly hosted by KING Magazine and Hot 97 and was a celebration for "young entrepreneur Dwight 'Dy$e' Morris."

White Plains police arrived and began emptying out the club, when a second man was found with a gunshot would to the leg. Both individuals were taken to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

As club patrons exited the club, several small fights broke out in the rear parking lot on Waller Avenue. The fights were quickly contained by the large number of officers on the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
