2010 Census: Hispanic, Asian Communities Grow
The Hispanic and Asian communities in White Plains have grown, while Caucasian and African American communities shrunk.

According to census data, White Plains' population is up by 3,776 between 2000 and 2010. Booms in the Hispanic and Asian communities helped to boost the city’s population up 7 percent, from 56,853 to 53,077.
The city has 4,363 new Hispanics neighbors along with 1,216 who are Asian. The Caucasian and African American communities have shrunk by 938 and 636 residents, respectively.
