3 Hudson Valley Hospitals Top Newsweek's New Rankings

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Three Hudson Valley hospitals have been ranked the best in New York in a new report from Newsweek.

White Plains Hospital is the number 12 top-ranked hospital in New York in Newsweek and data partner Statista's America’s Best In-State Hospitals 2025 ranking of more than 700 medical centers nationwide.

The three Hudson Valley hospitals, listed in ranked order, include:

• No. 12: White Plains Hospital, White Plains
• No. 15: Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck
• No. 21: Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco

The 2025 best in-state hospitals list features medical facilities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The hospitals were ranked based on quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and national surveys, including:

• The American Hospital Association's Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, an online nationwide survey among medical professionals;
• Results from Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems patient-experience surveys; and
• Voluntary implementation surveys on PROMs (patient-reported outcome measures).
