All About Grasscycling in White Plains

White Plains is looking to help its residents get a little greener with a pamphlet on how to recycle your grass clippings.

Why go through the trouble of raking up those grassclippings, putting them into a bag and then dragging it to the corner to take up space and decompose at the City's recycling yard, when your lawn is hungry for them?

Feed your lawn the healthy nutrients it craves, save time and waste by grasscycling. Grasscycling helps reduce water use, reduces the need for fertilizers, is good for the environment and can save money.

The City of White Plains is circulating a pamphlet about grasscycling online and hard copies to the neighborhood associations, garden centers, nurseries, landscapers, to encourage the practice in White Plains.
