"Our Day of Giving on Saturday the 18th will be an opportunity for Westchester residents to learn how they can support the American Red Cross as well as receive information about the numerous life saving courses we offer every day of the week, throughout the County," said Chief Executive Officer John Ravitz. "In order for us to continue to have the resources to assist victims of disasters and help them become survivors as quickly as possible, we need the ongoing generosity of the residents of Westchester County."

"In the past 6 months the American Red Cross in Westchester County has responded to 43 disasters a 20% increase from our responses at this time last year, in addition we have collected hundreds of units of blood and educated your neighbors in lifesaving skills such as first aid and CP," said Chief Operations Officer Andrea Grimaldi.
