White Plains Mayor's Wife: Bradley was ‘Obsessed’ with Assemblywoman Paulin
Fumiko Bradley said in court Paulin was one of the reasons she and her husband went to see a marriage counselor. Paulin denies relationship with Adam Bradley.
White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley's wife said in court Wednesday that the relationship between Bradley and Assemblywoman Amy Paulin created problems in her marriage.
While under cross-examination from the defense Wednesday, Fumiko Bradley said Paulin was one of the reasons she and her husband went to see a marriage counselor in 2006.
"There was never any inappropriate relationship between Adam and I," Paulin said. "We worked together in the Assembly as colleagues on issues that concern Westchester."

Fumiko Bradley told the court her husband was "obsessed" with Paulin, spent time with her and lied about seeing her. However, Fumiko Bradley said she didn't believe the relationship with Paulin was sexual.
Paulin, a Democrat who represents the 88th Assembly district and was re-elected on Nov. 2. Paulin may testify at the trial, which began in County Court on Monday.

The mayor, elected in 2009, is on trial on charges third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, witness tampering and harassment following an altercation with his wife on Feb. 28 — in which he was arrested — and a second arrest in the weeks that followed. They are now divorcing.
"It's unfortunate for my family to be dragged into this," Paulin said. "I don't know exactly what was said in court. There was never any inappropriate relationship between Adam and me. We worked in the Assembly as colleagues on issues that concern Westchester."
Bradley was a member of the Assembly from 2002 to 2010. Paulin has been a member of the Assembly since 2000.
Adam Bradley's lawyer, Luis Andrew Penichet, said in court that Bradley will take the stand in his own defense.
