Berkeley College in White Plains Named RecycleMania Champion

The following is a press release from the Berkeley College campus in White Plains.

Berkeley College students, staff and faculty joined 605 college communities nationwide in reducing waste during the 12th Annual RecycleMania Tournament.

This year, 92 million pounds of recyclables and organic materials were recovered, which prevented the release of nearly 150,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent.

In a friendly Berkeley College in-house competition, the White Plains location in Westchester County, NY, was named RecycleMania Tournament Champion for Most Recycling.
