Bronx Woman Faces Petty Larceny Charge

A Bronx woman faces a petty larceny charge after police say she tried to steal nearly $400 worth of children's clothing from in White Plains.
The woman, 28, was stopped by security after she was spotted concealing the clothes in her bag and trying to walk out of the store at about 9:30 p.m. on June 29, arrest reports say.
Police charged the woman with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released on $500 bail.
