Congressman Helps Celebrate Waterstone Resident's 102nd Birthday

WHITE PLAINS, NY (February 19, 2025) – After a long career as a distinguished legal expert, Alex Forger is still going strong at 102. Today he received a surprise visit from Westchester’s newest Congressman George Latimer to mark the milestone birthday.

A resident of Waterstone of Westchester senior living community in White Plains, Forger is as engaged as ever, said Madeline Silverstein, Life Enrichment Director at Waterstone of Westchester.

Forger was Managing Partner with Millbank Tweed, the famous NYC-based International Law Firm, and was on the Board of the New York Legal Aid Society.

Although the number of people reaching their 100th birthday was once rare in the U.S., the number has nearly tripled over the last three decades.

Still, those over 100 currently make up just .03% of the population of the U.S., according to the Pew Research Center. So Kudos to Forger for making it to 102.
