Cops Arrest 2 During Large Fight on Mam'k Ave.

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two men ended up in handcuffs after a large fight broke out as the bars were closing on Mamaroneck Ave. early Sunday morning, police say.

Police estimate 150 people were involved in the fight near 49 Mamaroneck Ave. at about 3:52 a.m. A 35-year-old and 28-year-old were arrested and cited for disorderly conduct a violation. Both men appeared intoxicated, according to police.

The 35-year old was cited as police tried to clear the area. Police say the man refused to leave as police attempted to break up the scuffle. The 28-year-old was cited a few minutes later, near the intersection of Mamaroneck Ave. and Mitchell Pl. Police say the man, who had sustained a minor injury during the scuffle, was flailing his arms and yelling at police after he was asked to leave the scene.

The 35-year-old was held for court. The 28-year-old was held on $400 bail, according to arrest reports.
