County Reschedules Saxon Woods Garage Sale

Vendors are individuals and families; there are no professional antiques or collectible dealers.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The rescheduled Saxon Woods Garage Sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 14 at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains.

Parking and admission is free for the event which will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 15.

The original date of Saturday, Sept. 23 had to be rescheduled due to the weather.

Vendors are individuals and families who are selling unwanted items, such as clothing, household items electronics, furniture, toys, books and sporting goods. There are no professional antiques or collectible dealers.

County Executive George Latimer said the Saxon Woods Garage Sale was “highly anticipated.”

He said it is “a staple in Westchester County that allows residents to purge items that are no longer of use, while also allowing for those who love to second-hand shop, to do so with the beautiful Saxon Woods Park as the backdrop.”

Saxon Woods Park is located at 1800 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.
