The following arrest report was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A New Jersey man who wandered into the closed meat section at the City Place  was arrested and charged with assault after police say he fought and bit a security guard who tried to kick him out of the store.

The suspect, 26, walked into the meat department and opened a display case without permission at about 8:54 p.m. Monday, according to arrest reports. Store security approached the man, who they say had touched several pieces of meat with his hands, and tried to ban him from the store for his conduct.

In response, police say the 26-year-old began ramming a shopping cart into the security guard. The two began a fight, and the security guard told police the suspect hit and bit him.
