2011 City Lights, Bright Holiday Nights Tree Lighting

Mayor Thomas M. Roach invites the entire White Plains community to celebrate the holiday season at the “City Lights Bright Holiday Nights Community Tree Lighting.”

On Sunday, Dec. 4, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. the sights and the sounds of the season will bring excitement and joy to the heart of White Plains in Tibbits Park on North Broadway and Main St.

Enjoy music provided by: The White Plains Youth Bureau After-School Chorus, The White Plains High School Marching Band, Eastview School Select Chorus, Taiko Drummers and The Star Performers.

There will be a spectacular ice carving exhibit, visits with Santa, winter games, special guests Frosty and Rudolph, Crafts, as well as a train and carousel rides. Complimentary beverages and refreshments will be provided.  

This year Mayor Roach has selected a beautiful evergreen to plant in the park that will be decorated with LED lights and enjoyed for many years to come. The festivities conclude with the lighting of this Grand Holiday Tree.
