Woman Attacks Ex-Boyfriend at DMV, Police Say

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Yonkers woman's visit to the DMV last week had nothing to do with her driving record, police say. Instead, police believe she went to the building on Hamilton Ave. to confront an ex-boyfriend who works in the office.

Police say the 22-year-old woman walked into the DMV at about 10 a.m. on August 3 and found her ex who was working at the time. After the man asked for his house keys back and confirmed the end of their relationship, the woman yelled out "you're going to make me go to jail today," loud enough for nearby witnesses to hear, police say.

The woman then jumped over a table and tried to attack her former boyfriend, according to arrest reports.
