FlixBus Offers New Direct Westchester To Philly And D.C. Service
The service launched on May 22, with two daily departures directly to Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Richmond.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — If you prefer to let the professionals do the driving, your next roadtrip may have just gotten a little easier.
FlixBus, a fast-growing intercity bus service, announced that it is expanding its network with a new stop in White Plains, located at 11 Ferris Ave., across the street from the Westchester Trans Center and the White Plains train station.
The service launched on May 22, with two daily departures directly to Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Richmond. FlixBus says that by skipping the congestion of midtown Manhattan, travelers will be able to get a faster, more convenient option for long-distance travel.

The company says that its buses offer a "comfortable, modern onboard experience" with guaranteed seating, free Wi-Fi, luggage allowance, power outlets, and ample legroom.
"We’re making it easier than ever for travelers in Westchester County, Rockland, and southwestern Connecticut to skip the hassle of city transfers and connect directly to Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Richmond," said Karina Frayter, head of communications at Flix North America. "This new stop is a convenient option for suburban riders looking for affordable, long-distance travel right in their own backyard."
