Pizza

Fortina (Armonk, Ryebrook, Yonkers, and Stamford, CT)
Fortina prides itself on representing Italian culture, being both “classic and creative,” which is demonstrated in its 14 types of pizza. Different combinations of meats, veggies, and seasonings are lovingly placed on the fluffiest, chewiest, gooiest dough in all of Westchester. No lactose? No problem. The “Marinara” pizza isn’t made with cheese, but still has a ton of flavor!
There’s more to explore than just pizza, Fortina’s menu also consists of antipasti, soups, salads, pasta, veggies, and main courses. If you’re in the mood for delicious Italian food, Fortina is the place to go.

Tacos

The Taco Project (Bronxville, Pleasantville, Tarrytown, and Yonkers)
The Taco Project is a taco lover’s paradise. We’re talking tacos galore: chicken, shrimp, steak, fish, chorizo, pork belly, and even BBQ pulled pork! All served with yellow corn tortillas (or you can swap for a hard shell) and topped off with fresh ingredients.
While tacos may be their specialty, the menu doesn’t stop there. The Taco Project also serves five different appetizers, burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, salads, and desserts. There are many tasty drinks to wash it all down too.
All of the Taco Project locations are beautifully decorated and vibrant. It’s the type of restaurant that keeps you coming back.

Choose from eight noodle dishes in addition to various curries and more. If you like a little “kick” to your food, there are many spicy menu items you can try.
You can even go to Sambal to sip on any of their eight signature crafted cocktails. They also offer several types of beer, as well as white and red wine.

Burgers

There are regular burger joints, and there’s Bareburger. A restaurant that stands out from the rest because of its commitment to all-natural, local, sustainable, and clean ingredients.
What also sets Bareburger apart is its availability of numerous gluten-free and vegan options. There’s truly something for everyone!

Pancakes

IHOP (Hartsdale and Mohegan Lake)
There’s only one place you can go to get world-famous buttermilk pancakes and it is IHOP. The name alone, International House of Pancakes, lets you know that if you order them, you won’t be disappointed, especially if you drizzle one of their special syrups on top!
Sure, IHOP isn’t one of the trendy up-and-coming brunch spots, but it is a classic! It’s a go-to spot for those who enjoy the simple pleasures in life, like a perfectly flipped pancake.
