Funeral arrangement have been made for Michael Solomon, the 68-year-old security guard who was found dead during Saturday’s fire at the White Plains YMCA.
Solomon is survived by his wife, Meklite Ayele; son, Dawit Solomon; sisters, Mizan, Abebech and Menia; and brothers, Goithiom and Mekonen; his niece, Hanna; and numerous family members.
Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday from, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, located at 2 Maple Avenue in White Plains.

The funeral mass will be at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Elmsford. Interment will follow in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
