Gardella Pool Opens Thursday, Kittrell Friday
The following is a press release from the City of White Plains

Mayor Thomas M. Roach and the Recreation & Parks Department invite residents to splash and swim the summer away at the Gardella and Kittrell Park Pools.
is located on Ferris Avenue and is located on Fisher Avenue. The swim season will officially begin on Friday, June 22, 2012 with both pools open daily from noon to 6:30 p.m.
Late nights will be held at each pool once a week: Kittrell Park Pool will be open until 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday, and Gardella Park Pool will be open until 7:30 p.m. every Thursday.
A White Plains Recreation I.D. card is required for admittance to both pools. The swim season will end on Sunday, August 26, 2012.

Recreation I.D. cards may be obtained at the Recreation & Parks Department, located at 85 Gedney Way. For additional information about the City’s pool facilities or Recreation I.D. cards, please call the Recreation Office at 914.422.1336.
In addition, due to the heat advisory forecasted for Thursday, June 21. The City will open Gardella Pool on Ferris Avenue from noon until 8:00 pm for an early opportunity to cool off.
Admittance to the pool is free. Proof of residency will be required for admittance.
