2.) Raise Your Glass to Benefit People Affected By Cancer

Where/When: Ron Blacks, 181 Mamaroneck Ave., Sat., Feb. 26 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy raffles, appetizers, and discounted drink and food specials while raising money to Support Connection, which offers free support service to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Call 914.962.6402 for more information.

Pricing: $10 in advance, $15 at the door

3. The 43rd Annual WRAM Radio Control Hobby Show

Where/When:  Feb. 25 at 10 a.m.—4:30 p.m.; Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.—5 p.m.; Feb 27 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Come check out the newest radio controlled equipment including miniature cars, boats and planes. This will be a super neat sight for any child, and a great way to spend a weekend afternoon doing something new. There will be a variety of unique radio controlled devices you won’t find in the mall.

Pricing: Adults $12, Children (6-11) $3, under 6 free. On Sunday kids 12 and under are free. 

4. UFC Fight Night at Black Bear

Where/When: , 166 Mamaroneck Ave., Sat., Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.

Why go: Watch Penn vs. Fitch and enjoy $15 buckets of Bud with your buddies.

Pricing: Admission is free

5. Dominican Republic Independence Day

Where/When: Renaissance Plaza, on Main Street between Court St. and Mamaroneck Avenue (where Starbucks is)—Sun., Feb. 27 at 4 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate your culture in hertitage or learn about a new one. The event includes a flag raising ceremony. Later on, a Grand Fiesta Carnival will be held at, 152 Mamaroneck Ave., from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets include snack buffet, appetizers, soft drink, raffles and special presentations.

Pricing: Ceremony is free, the carnival is $55 per person
