Give a Socially Responsible Gift on National Brownie Day
Celebrate National Brownie Day with a gift that not only tastes good, but does good.

Yonkers, N.Y. (December 8, 2023)— Who can resist a fudgy, chocolatey brownie? The delectable treat was invented in 1893 by a hotel pastry chef in time for the Chicago World’s Fair.
The brownie is now a national treat, and what better way to celebrate National Brownie Day than to give a brownie gift that not only tastes good, but does good. Enter: Greyston Bakery and its famous brownie. And now is a great time to give a brownie with free shipping and 10 percent off through Monday, December 11.
Greyston Bakery bakes the world’s most scrumptious brownies (the very same as in Ben & Jerry’s ice cream). Every brownie helps provide a job through Greyston’s Open Hiring ™ policy, which offers a job to anyone willing to work without the need of background checks, resumes or questions about prior work history.

And now Greyston Bakery is offering Brownies & Brews Gift Box featuring eight decadent, handcrafted brownies and blondies; one bag of organic, fair-trade coffee; and three sachets of comforting tea. The socially impactful gift box returns 100 percent of profits to create fair jobs.
