It's Officially Fall Festival Season in Westchester!

In Westchester County, a chill in the air signals to arts lovers that it's officially fall festival season.

September 10-14
JazzFest White Plains
Presented by ArtsWestchester, the City of White Plains and White Plains BID
This five-day festival, now in its 14th year, offers 18 live jazz performances across downtown White Plains at locations like Downtown Music at Grace, ArtsWestchester, White Plains Public Library and more. The performers range from emerging local talent to world-class GRAMMY Award winners, including Kurt Elling’s Wildflowers, Kenny Barron Trio and Immanuel Wilkins Quartet. The festival culminates in Sunday Jazz Alfresco, a full-day outdoor concert, this year in a new location (Mamaroneck Ave. between E. Post Road and Maple Ave.) and headlined by Steve Turre Sextet.

September 12-14
Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst
Presented by Artrider and Lyndhurst Mansion

Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst returns, once again on the expansive grounds of Lyndhurst Mansion and against the dramatic backdrop of the Hudson River. This year the event brings more than 200 makers from whom visitors can shop ceramics, glass, jewelry and more. In addition, the entire family can enjoy a puppet theater, face painting and craft demonstrations. Admission also includes access to Lyndhurst’s rose garden, carriage house and river views.

Yonkers Riverfest
Presented by Yonkers Downtown BID
Riverfest returns to Downtown Yonkers, filling the air with music, food and community spirit. The full-day celebration in Larkin Plaza features live performances across three stages, with genres ranging from jazz and soul to rock and hip-hop. With more than 140 food vendors and artisan booths lining the streets, families gather to enjoy activities, rides and games. Riverfest has become a hallmark of late summer, blending local flavor with lively entertainment that everyone can appreciate.

Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival
Presented by Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival
The Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival presents and nurtures the magic of reading for the youngest audiences. The annual event at the Chappaqua Train Station grounds offers a full day of author meet-and-greets, illustrator demonstrations, and live story-times as more than 100 writers and artists share their work. Voracious book fans will have the chance to collect signed books and hear their favorite stories come to life. With food trucks, a Family Fun Zone, and a welcoming community atmosphere, the festival has become one of the country’s largest celebrations of children’s literature.

Larchmont Arts Festival
Presented by Larchmont Arts Festival
For the Larchmont Arts Festival, Constitution Park will be transformed into an open-air gallery. This year, more than 60 artists will showcase paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, and more. This year’s featured artist is internationally renowned embroiderer and historian Young Yang Chung. Visitors can also enjoy live music, family arts activities from Clay Art Center and Creative Corner, and food from local favorites like Pizza Vitale and LaLa Taqueria. The festival blends community spirit with a vibrant celebration of creativity, including awards honoring both youth and fine art.

September 27 & 28
Rev Fest 250
Presented by Westchester County Tourism
History comes to life for Rev Fest 250. At Croton Point Park, the stage is set for a two-day celebration blending Revolutionary War history with modern entertainment. Audiences can experience living history reenactments, cannon demonstrations and tales by master storyteller Jonhthan Kruk. As a treat for the ears, Rev Fest 250’s live music offerings span from Westchester Symphonic Winds and drum circles to Walkabout Clearwater Chorus and even a Hamilton sing-along. Local food vendors and craft beverages round out the weekend alongside artisan exhibitors and family activities.

September 27 & 28
Armonk Outdoor Art Show
Presented by the Armonk Outdoor Art Show
The works of approximately 160 juried artists will be on display at the 63rd Armonk Outdoor Art Show. Works range from painting and sculpture to sculpture and wearable art. The day offers something for all age groups, from a Family Activities tent with kids’ art projects and lessons to a variety of vendors offering wine and beer for the adults.Net proceeds benefit the programming at Friends of the North Castle Public Library, including the The Armonk Players theater group. The production of this festival relies on 300 volunteers and brings nearly 10,000 visitors to the expansive field at 205 Business Park Drive. This year marks the launch of Armonk Has Heart, a public art installation of 12 artist-designed fiberglass hearts throughout town in anticipation of the festival.

October 4
ARToberFest
Presented by Bethany Arts Community
Bethany Arts Community hosts its sixth annual ARToberFest. The Ossining campus will be filled with visual artists, live music, and interactive projects. From browsing booths of regional makers to engaging hands-on activities, the festival offers something for all ages. Local food vendors and craft demonstrations add to the lively autumn atmosphere. Meanwhile, performances throughout the day keep the grounds buzzing.

October 4
Pound Ridge Harvest Festival
Presented by Pound Ridge Partnership
Once again, the Pound Ridge will take place in Pound Ridge Town Park. Families can enjoy Oktoberfest-style fare, craft beer and wine gardens. There is plenty of kid-friendly fun to be had as well, including face-painting and a root beer garden. This year’s headliners include Grammy Award-nominated rock trio The Record Company and New Orleans brass innovators The Soul Rebels, alongside local opener John Praino. With food trucks, games and a sustainability focus, the Pound Ridge Harvest Festival blends big-name performances with small-town camaraderie.

October 16-19
ArtsFest
Presented by New Rochelle Council on the Arts
For the 17th year, the arts will take over the New Rochelle streets during ArtsFest, a weekend of art exhibits, dance performances, film screenings and more. Visitors can meet local artists, get a trolley tour of the city’s large-scale murals and witness a storytelling competition hosted by The Moth Story Hour. Last year’s festival featured more than 50 venues and showcased the works of more than 250 visual and performing artists.
