Man Reports Early Morning Robbery on Fisher Ave.

Police say the man was beaten and robbed by two males at about 4 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Fisher Ave. and Lafayette St.

After grabbing his shirt and punching him in the face and head, a White Plains man told police two men walked off with his watch, cell phone, gold necklace and $160 cash early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at about 4 a.m. near the intersection of Fisher Ave. and Lafayette St. The victim, a 28-year-old male, said he was walking home when he was approached by two males and attacked.

After the robbery, the two men fled toward S Lexington Ave. and out of sight. The man told police he returned home after the incident and went to work the following day before reporting the robbery to police just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim described his attackers as black males, one as "skinny" and between 25 and 30 years old. He had had no description of the second man, according to an incident report.
