WHITE PLAINS, NY — Today, we learned that our three favorite things are even better when thoughtfully paired and we're eager to learn more — so, sign us up.

Miles, The Prince, a 43-seat fine dining restaurant and brewery located at 873 N. Broadway in White Plains, will be hosting a meat, cheese and beer pairing class on Sunday, June 23, at 4:30 p.m. It is just the lastest in a series of culinary events hosted by the team that opened the restaurant this past November.

Mamaroneck native Zach Goldstein, who brings extensive experience from Jean-Georges Vongerichten's properties and Stone Brewing Company, and Dana Lawrie, also formerly with Jean-Georges, along with Chef Alessandro Urbisci and Brewmaster Evan Koepnick, say they have curated a fun evening which they say might make a fun Father’s Day gift.

The team says that the evening will feature three local meats and three local cheeses, each paired with three-ounce house-brewed beers. Guests will be able to learn why these flavor combinations work so well together and will then be able to apply that knowledge when selecting beers for their next dining experience whether at home or dining out. The cost is $65 per person and tickets are available through Resy here.

"We source the majority of our ingredients from farms and purveyors across the Hudson Valley which means you are getting the freshest tasting food while supporting the local economy," Goldstein said. "The beer we brew on site is made from malt that comes from New Paltz and hops that comes from Germany, Oregon and New Zealand where the climate is perfect for producing high quality hops which significantly influences the flavor, aroma, and overall profile of the beer. We know our guests will enjoy the combination of the locally grown meats and cheeses alongside our distinct beer offerings."
