More Than $1.1M In Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In Hudson Valley
The second- and third-prize-winning tickets ranged in value from $50,000 to $1 million.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — While there was no jackpot-winning ticket for the $1 billion July 19 Powerball drawing sold in New York, there is a lot of cash going to some lucky people who bought tickets in the Hudson Valley.
Three winning tickets sold in the Hudson Valley from Wednesday’s drawing total $1,150,000.
The New York Lottery said there were five second-prize-winning tickets sold in New York that are worth $1 million.

One of those five was purchased at Central Snack Mart Corp., 395 Central Ave. in White Plains.
To win $1 million, the ticket buyer had to correctly pick all five numbers, without the Powerball.

There were also 17 third-prize-winning tickets worth $50,000 each sold in New York, one of which was in Newburgh.
That lucky ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh.
Players who won a $50,000 third prize had to correctly pick four numbers plus the Powerball.
Finally, there were four third-prize-winning Powerplay tickets sold for the July 19 Powerball drawing in New York.
One of those four tickets — worth $100,000 — was sold at Smokes 4 Less at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh.
The lucky customer opted to purchase the Powerplay, which, for this drawing, doubled the $50,000 prize to $100,000.
The winning numbers for the July 19 Powerball drawing are 7-10-11-13-24, with a Powerball of 24, according to the New York Lottery website.
Numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
