The Westchester County Association’s Blueprint for Westchester showed regional developers and business owners what White Plains is made of during the first-ever White Plains City Showcase on Wednesday. The event included breakfast, a two-hour bus tour of the city and a luncheon featuring White Plains Mayor Tom Roach as a keynote speaker. Lawyers for the family of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. announced that White Plains Officer Steven Hart is the officer who shouted racial slurs at Chamberlain before police shot him, according to WPIX.com. WPIX also reports that Hart is currently facing a federal civil right suit for allegedly unlawfully arrested a man, breaking his nose, and slamming him on the ground causing injury to the man’s arm. City Counsel Confirms Union Talks Go To Mediation
