State Supreme Court Judge Rules that Bradley’s Ethics Documents Should Be Released
The Journal News reports that The City of White Plains is deciding on whether or not they will appeal a New York State Supreme Court judge’s ruling, which said the City must release documents relating to former Mayor Adam Bradley’s ethics investigation.
The Journal News sued the City and the White Plains Board of Ethics after it denied the release of the documents citing that doing so would violate the local ethics code. However, the judge ruled that state law outweighed local laws regarding confidentiality.

White Plains PBA Says the City Needs to Hire More Cops to Fight Crime
Police Benevolent Association President (PBA) says the City is short staffed, which has contributed to 15 burglaries city-wide in the past three months, and seven from November to January, according to The Daily White Plains. The City of White Plains declined to comment on the allegegations and cited statistics from the White Plains Department of Public Safety, which show that annual statistics have declined since officers were laid off in 2010.
