The White Plains Urban Renewal Agency will hold an open house on Saturday, May 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, May 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 10 Odell Ave. To apply for this charming $250,000 home, applicants must be a White Plains City or school district employee, and/or reside and are employed or retired in White Plains.

Land Use Moratorium Extended 

After a public hearing on the extension of a moratorium on certain land use approvals in non-city or school district owned parcels in the R1-12.5 and R1-30 zoning districts listed as parkland in the City’s comprehensive plan—the City voted to extend the moratorium for a second time.

Leaf Blower Ban in Effect

City Holds Automobile Auction

White Plains will auction off any vehicles that were abandoned or are scofflaw vehicles starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 at the impound lot on Ferris Avenue between Westview and Cemetery Road. Click here for details.
