Keys to Awesomeness: Children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade busted open their piggy banks, scoured couches for coins and hit-up relatives for pocket change to raise awareness and money to fight blood cancers. Melissa Tellez's fourth grade class was the highest fundraising class donating more than $400. Church Street School's 4 to 11-year-olds are known for their compassion having raised between $3,000 to $5,000 for hurricane victims in New Orleans and Haiti.
