Here's our story on this week's Whiz Kids: the White Plains scholarship winners of the 27th annual Westchester County Women's Hall of Fame Luncheon
- Whiz Kids' School: White Plains High School, New York School for the Deaf
- Whiz Kids' Accomplishments: These model young White Plains women were honored with scholarships at the 27th annual Westchester County Women's Hall of Fame Luncheon, at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye Brook on March 25.
- Keys to Awesomeness: White Plains resident Isabella Albert Merrill, a student at the New York School for the Deaf, was presented with the Merrill Lynch Westchester Leadership Award scholarship for success in overcoming adversity and her leadership role in her community.
- White Plains High School student Denise Santizo received the 2011 Stock Family LLC Award scholarship for academic excellence and desire to pursue medicine.
- Six WPHS were granted the Lanza Family Foundation-Her Honor Mentoring Award scholarships for their academic achievements: Eboni Andre, Jessica Bedoya, Jessica Gonzalez, Markelin Moscoso, Diana Osorio and Melissa Rodriquez.
