Police Investigate Garage Fall as a Suicide
A 21-year-old man is believed to have jumped to his death Wednesday from a parking garage onto Hale Avenue.
- Correction: A previous article stated that the parking structure was the Crowne Plaza's garage.The structure is across the street from the Crowne Plaza.
White Plains Police received a report of a man who had fallen from the top of the 11-story parking structure at , 44 S. Broadway, to his death on Hale Avenue around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
“We’re investigating this as a suicide,” said Lt. Eric Fischer of the White Plains Police Department.
Police have not released the man’s name as they are trying to contact family members.

According, to LoHud.com, the 21-year-old didn’t work in the area and didn’t have a car parked in the garage, or a note in his pocket.
