Police Make 2 Petit Larceny Arrests at Sears

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Two women were arrested in Tuesday evening after police say they tried to shoplift more than $200 in merchandise.

A Bronx woman, 22 and Pamona woman, 19, entered the store at about 5:30 Tuesday evening. Police say they then picked out about $209 worth of clothing then placed the merchandise in a hand bag.

Store security told police they watched the incident unfold and stopped the women as they were leaving the store. Police charged both with petit larceny.

They were held on $500 bail.
