Police: Store Employee Stole $2,614 in Gift Cards
The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A worker at is accused of stealing $2,614 in store gift cards over the last six months.
Store security called police on Jan. 28 after realizing the thefts took place. They told police that an internal investigation revealed that store employee Jenelle Gooden, 25, of the Bronx, had been snatching the cards for at least the last six months.

Gooden admitted to the thefts and offered to pay for the cards, police say. Bloomingdales elected to press charges and Gooden was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was charged with grand larceny, a felony.
After processing, Gooden was released on $500 cash bail.
