Police: White Plains Man Paid $25 For Sex

A White Plains man who police say admitted paying to $25 for sex in a city parking garage faces a misdemeanor charge.
The woman police believe was involved was also charged.

Police noticed a woman they say has a history of prostitution entering the back seat of a gray Mazda in front of 225 Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 9 p.m. Tuesday. A short while later, police were tipped off when they noticed the same driver and same woman drive by in a different vehicle.
After pulling the vehicle over, police say the driver, a 55-year-old White Plains man, started acting nervous. During questioning they say the man admitted to having sex with the woman in a parking garage at 118 Oakley Avenue in White Plains in exchange for money.

Police believe man paid $25 for sex.
The man said the woman—who is 33 and also from White Plains—was a friend and called him, offering sex in exchange for money.
The man was charged with patronizing prostitution, a misdemeanor. The woman was charged with prostitution, also a misdemeanor.
