Police: Women Steals $1,295 Burberry Coat

After trying on an expensive coat and sweater at on Westchester Avenue Saturday, police say a women in her late 20s walked out of the store with the merchandise without paying.

Police say another woman acted as a lookout as the suspect stole a coat valued at $1,295 and a sweater valued at $250 from the store at 125 Westchester Avenue.

Since the value of the stolen good exceeds $1,000, the women would face felony grand larceny charges if caught, police said.
